City Youth Basketball 2026

Youth Basketball will be a 7 week long season. This will include 6 games with the first day of the season being Jersey Pick-up and Meet the Coach followed by Practice.

Week 1: 1/17/2026 Meet the Coach, Jersey Pick-up, Scrimmage

Week 2: 1/24/2026 Practice Followed by Game 1

Week 3: 1/31/2026 Team Pictures ** Followed by Game 2

**Please arrive 10 minutes early on picture day

Week 4: 2/7/2026 NO GAMES OR PRACTICE

Week 5: 2/14/2026 Practice Followed by Game 3

Week 6: 2/21/2026 Practice Followed by Game 4

Week 7: 2/28/2026 Practice Followed by Game 5

Week 8: 3/7/2026 Practice Followed by Game 6

*No parking in fire lanes, drop off zones or grass areas.

Kindergarten- COED

  • Location: Hermiston School District – TBD
  • Jersey: Jersey is included in registration and will be available for pick by parents or guardians Week 1 of the season.
  • Schedule: 30-minute practice immediately followed by 30-minute game, game start times will vary.
    • TIME LISTED ON SCHEDULE IS WHEN PRACTICE BEGINS.
  • NO BASKETBALL on FEB 7th due to local AAU tournament.
  • This league is coached by Volunteer Coaches.
    Volunteer coaches are needed to make this league happen. No experience required! If you would like to volunteer to coach, contact us atparksandrec@hermiston.gov

  • Schedule: 45-minute practice immediately followed by 45-minute game, start times varies
    • TIME LISTED ON SCHEDULE IS WHEN PRACTICE BEGINS.
  • NO BASKETBALL on FEB 7th due to local AAU tournament.
  • This league is coached by Volunteer Coaches.
